Kickstarter: The Final Result

So depending on how well you know Reynard City you may or may not know about our Kickstarter. We wanted to use it as a springboard (to “kickstart” if you will) toward creating our new graphic novel Reynard City Chronicles, support local companies with new merchandise and even potentially a promotional short film. Sadly we didn’t make it as this video illustrates.

So is this the end of the project? Far from it. We have got some excellent artists who are working hard to get this made and we are still on course to get this ready for Norcon at the end of October. But of course this is just one aspect of the comic- simply put the more money we raise the more we can do.

With our Patreon and Paypal you can get a number of extras including exclusive short stories, artwork and the Fox Box (a regular pack of goodies sent to your door). Regular payments will also allow us to get more commissions going for artists and here to bring more awesome items (examples on the site available here)

More funding also allows us to get out to more events. Events like London Film and Comic Con (LFCC), Norcon and MCM are not only crucial for selling comics and merchandise but are also a fantastic way to meet some brilliant people and interacted with fans who come out to these events (furthermore it is great fun and we get to meet a lot of our heroes and learn from them as well.)

Will we do any more Kickstarters in the future?

With anything in life never say never (especially considering we’ve done three other Kickstarters). But for now we want to focus on getting the comic made. Any support we can get in the meantime is massively appreciated, more info here!
