Fanart Friday request- Story/art trade

Over the past few months, we have been very lucky to get some awesome Fanart Friday art. For this month, we have a different request- a story/art trade.

What do you mean?

You have probably seen (and chances are participated in) an art trade before. The idea is that one artist does some work for another and they in turn do one for them. What I am proposing is similar but an artist produces a picture and then a writer does a story based on that picture.

We have had some artwork with the narrative already built in, such as ChocEnd’s Indiana Jones parody or Kendall Collins’ crossover pics with Vibes and the team meeting Kendall’s Life By The Tracks characters. I have also done some writing commissions for clients.

We have also previously had OC contests that were very popular. The ideas and stories that came with them were a lot of fun.

The rules

You have a month to come up with a picture you want a story from. There are a couple of rules-

1. Please keep them Reynard City related- it can be an OC but they should have some connection to the comic.

2. Please keep the writing clean, strictly PG-13 (No excessive violence, nudity, swearing etc)

3. You can do crossovers, but if you do an OC please either do your own or get permission from the person who did the OC before you submit the artwork (We’re doing this on trust but will always try to correct credits wherever possible)

4. You have until the last Thursday of the month to submit your pic. You can do it via Twitter, Deviantart or Instagram but please either tag us in or use the hashtag #reynardcity so we can find it (or to make it easier email it to reynardcity@gmail.com)
