But what is Reynard City Chronicles Issue 2?

So for those new to this site, we originally did a webcomic series called simply Reynard City (Still available here)

We decided to do a reboot, changing both the artwork and how we presented the story. Rather than trying to do several 22 page comics across the year with a bigger team, we decided to simplify and do one 40 page graphic novel a year.

We decided to call it Reynard City Chronicles in order to show the difference between this and the original webcomic.

Issue 1 covered Vibes McAllister’s journey as she found out her true identity as the super psychic supervixen AK Girl. Those of you who have read this issue will have seen the setup for the next story.

Issue 2 picks up where the previous story left off, as Sal (aka Wondervixen) recounts to Dr Anty the story of why she didn’t immediately reunite with her friends in Reynard City. Meanwhile Vibes (AK Girl) and Guillermo (Hyper Rob) deal with a mysterious new villain, who has a connection to Sal’s past…

Where can I get Reynard City Chronicles?

Print copies of issue 1 are available via Canary Comics, Beccles Books and Bookbugs and Dragontales. You can also get the digital version as part of the Comichaus app (“The Netflix of indie comics”) while both digital and physical versions are available via our shop page.

Print copies of issue 2 will be available soon, though we will need to work out pricing for postage on those, which is why we’re offering digital pre-orders first. You can order them via Paypal, Patreon or Ko-Fi for £5 (limited time issue 1 will be included- remember to include a message to indicate what you want)

Why are you charging for this?

Some people may ask “Why charge for this?” after the original series was free.

Here’s the thing- We heard feedback on wanting a more cohesive story, more consistent artwork etc. In order to do that, we need to be able to give more support to the creative talent that makes that happen, as it is easy to forget the amount of time, effort and commitment that goes into this.

What we raise from merchandise, crowdfunding and other sources allows us to support awesome artists like Joe Draco Petterson . On top of this, it also means more opportunities to commission more artists and to maintain our commitment to using local and independent businesses.

In short, by backing us you make the project better!

Cupcakes And Comics 3rd October Castle Quarter
