We have had some questions come up, one being “What is the Reynard City Chronicles final arc?”
Before we start special thanks to our featured sponsor Sorrow of A Furry Father (https://imagifox.itch.io/sorrow-of-a-furry-father)

A point-and-click puzzle adventure game about family love, reconciliation, and getting transformed into a fox.
The easiest thing we thought to answer the questions we’ve been given was to create a video and a blog covering those questions.
So is the next issue the last one?
- Happy Ever After pg 1 (Iss 6 Elie)
- Switching Sides by Emily Bandicoot (Issue 6)
- Welcome to my World by BlueIke (Issue 6)
No, issue 6 represents the start of the final arc, due for release in September 2023 (though if we can get it out before we will.) Elie Renard Delisle-Lafortune, Emily Bandicoot and BlueIke have all worked on in this part, setting up stories that will continue with issue 7 (due in 2024, art by BlueIke) and concluding with a two part finale (artists TBC, issue 8 due for 2025 and issue 9 due for 2026)
If this is the final arc, what about the other issues?

Issues 1-3 make up the first arc, introducing the characters and their world. Issue 4 is where we are introduced to the Zedites and the wider threats outside Reynard City. Finally, issue 6 sees a story point that will set up the eventual finale of the series.
How does Alternotron fit into this?
The best way to describe Alternotron is- a fantastic side story with excellent art by Jed Soriano. You can read it purely as its own standalone story, of Wondervixen fighting her subconscious desires and how Alterontron twists them, threatening reality in the process. Equally, it can work as part of the series, fleshing out the relationship between Sal and Vibes, adding another layer to the story. Either way it’s recommended!
What about the original webcomic series?

The original webcomics are a different version of the Reynard City canon and are still available in the archive section of our comic (and still available to view for free!)
What happens after this is finished? Have you thought about doing a Reynard City animated series, video game etc?
First and foremost we want to finish Reynard City Chronicles as a comic series. For years now, there are stories that we wanted to complete that we didn’t get the chance to. This series will give us the chance to put the final pieces together and give these characters the send-off they deserve.
After that? A Reynard City animated series has definitely been a dream. Seeing work from the likes of Pixelrush and Team Season 3 (a fan sequel series to Sonic Satam) certainly raises hope, as well as the re-emergence of the side scrolling beat-em-up genre (something I would personally love to do for a Reynard City video game.
If these are things that you want to see, it is vital to support us as much as you can. Whether it’s sharing the links, submitting art for Fanart Friday, backing our crowdfunders or buying the comics, it sends the message that this is what you want to see. Let’s keep this positive- forget anything else, if you love this and want to see more please let people know about it!

Special thanks to everyone who has made this project possible. This started as a bunch of doodles and scrawly notes but it is the artists, voice actors, indie businesses and a whole community that has made it real. It literally doesn’t exist without you and it’s you that can make it bigger!
