Each year AK August sees AK Girl take centre stage as we ask for guest videos, fanart and more. Below is a selection of this year’s videos, but before we start here’s an intro if you don’t know the character!

We asked across Twitter, Deviantart, Facebook and our Discord group- Do people think AK Girl is a Mary Sue? And as a follow up we look into the definition (overpowered, lacking flaws, self insert) and whether she falls into that category. The result is more layered and complicated than you might think and we got some interesting responses!
