We were really impressed with the range of entries for the last contest, with lots of different styles. The next collection will be similar to our last one The Perfect Platinum Collection

With that last collection the stories focused on Wondervixen (specifically the Perfect Platinum story arc). This one is a bit different in that it will be selected AK Girl focused issues including Yes Sensei , The Rise of Balloon Boy and Out of Shape
AK August- AK Girl Adventures Cover Contest
So to be clear- as well as a special Fox Box full of goodies you will also win your picture as the cover. Therefore we are looking for something that reflects that theme. Think Indiana Jones, James Bond, Wonder Woman, Aliens, Lord of the Rings, anything that says “adventure.”
It doesn’t necessarily need to be linked directly with the comics in the collection but here are a few images to help inspire you.

There are a number of ways you can enter- Post on Deviantart, Instagram, Facebook or Twitter (or email reynardcity@gmail.com) but make sure you put the #akaugust and include a logo with AK Girl Adventures on it. Remember we want something that represents AK Girl on an adventure and will be the cover so please bear that in mind (nothing rude etc.) If you have any questions email reynardcity@gmail.com
AK August Contest- Writing Contest
AK’s new look Nicholas Webb
We had some feedback from people who said they can’t draw but wanted to be involved so we’re opening this out- we are looking for two page sketches/stories to include in the collection. It’s up to you but they need to involve AK Girl- it could be her auditioning for a movie, telling someone about one of her recent adventures, anything you want.
The only restriction is to keep the sketch/story to two pages and to keep it reasonably clean (Roughly PG/PG13). You can post it on Deviantart with the tag #akaugust or you can email it to reynardcity@gmail.com
The deadline is 31st August for both AK August Contest and as with the variant cover there will be an independent judge. Thanks once again to Katie Colman for being our last judge.
