AK August Contest Winners

AK August is now officially over and happy to announce we have our AK August contest winners!

For the second month in a row our guest judge has had to choose between some excellent entries. As well as Van Hikari’s short story Vibes In Candyland we also had to pick between these pictures for the cover of AK Girl Adventures

Now in order to pick an AK Girl contest winner we need someone who can judge who is the Vibe-ist of them all. So for this contest we have voice of AK Girl Hayley Evenett to look over them and pick for us (below is an example of her fantastic vocal stylings alongside Hollie Harrington in a recent vlog)

After a lot of consideration it was narrowed down to two so a special honourable mention to Joe Draco Petterson

“The steal mode picture with the dragon is my second favourite as I love the cheekiness. The story set up is great and I love how confused Vibes looks at being part fox, part dragon!”

However there can be only one winner and so (drum roll please)

Edgar Montantez Jr wins with Candy Corps. “I think I’d go for Candy Corps just for the ‘what happens next’ element. I can imagine that caramel syrup hitting vibes and her bouncing off like an irate balloon!”

The Prize

Edgar’s picture will be the cover of AK Girl Adventures, the latest comic collection. For those who have seen
the Perfect Platinum Collection you will know the setup- some classic Reynard City issues combined with new artwork, stories (including Van Hikari’s short story) and interviews.

As well as this he will also receive a special edition Fox Box featuring a range of comic based prizes, as well as a digital pack of short stories and more.

AK Girl Adventures will include some of her best moments including All The Fun of The Fair, Rise of Balloon Boy and Get Over It as well as the back story of her powers and weakness in Yes Sensei.

But that’s not all either!

We will also be including a special live action story by MadScientistCeri that covers Vibes finding out her real form and unfortunate inflation weakness in a trippy sequence. Below is a mini preview!
