AK August- Starting next week

What is AK August? We will be sharing pics, stories, videos and more about Veronica “Vibes” Hannah McAllister aka AK Girl and we want you to get involved!

Who is AK Girl?

AK Girl is short for Animal Kingdom Girl, named after the planet she comes from. Born with psychic abilities, she channels them with modes (speed, strength etc). However she can only use one at a time and it depends on her ability to focus.
On top of that, there is the fact her weakness is she inflates on contact with caramel.

OK what’s that about?

This is explained in the prequel comic Yes Sensei and issue 1 of Reynard City Chronicles. Essentially when Vibes’ powers got out of control they needed to be contained. The idea is that as she focuses she can regain her form.

So what do you want from us?

We already have some guest contributors lined up for AK August, plus I have a few videos lined up. But we would love to get more people involved, plus it’s the chance for you to promote your work as well.

1. Do a quick video (up to 2 minutes) with your thoughts on AK Girl- would you like to see her in Smash Bros, maybe pitch an idea for an action figure? Equally you can just tell us what you think of the character.
2. Do a pic- We’ve had some excellent fanart already but would love to see some more. Whether it’s your own OC dressed as AK Girl, AK Girl in a different costume or your take on the character that would be great.
3. Write a story- Likewise we’ve had some terrific fanfic and stories about her and it would be brilliant to see what you come up with.
4. Cosplay- OK it’s a challenge to do it in a month but it would also be amazing!
5. Morphs- A morph pic of AK Girl would be cool too (also a quicker alternative to doing a cosplay)

What’s the deal with issue 4?

Quick update- the pages are done, we are leaving this open a little longer to get sponsors for the print run, keep an eye on our Twitter for updates.

We will also have another trailer with our awesome voice acting team for that one and our plan is to be at Norcon to sell the comic and generally enjoying being back at my fave con!
