Best Reynard City Couple 2024 is apt because (at time of writing) we are a few days from Valentines Day. Now some people may read this and say “But I’m single!” There’s nothing in the rules that says you can’t enjoy a film, hang out with some friends or treat yourself in whatever way works best for you. And to the couples reading this, hope you enjoy your special day!
With that preamble out of the way, let’s get to it!
How we worked it out
Best Reynard City couple 2024 was compiled from polls across various social media platforms. What was interesting is that each platform seemed to have their own personal preferences. This is not to psychoanalyse but I have thoughts on this…

OK so this one is arguably popular because it’s the first couple we see in Reynard City Chronicles. Mark starts off as Vibes’ manager at the local radio station and remains loyal to her as she leaves. However, their relationship can be complicated by the fact that Vibes has to maintain her AK Girl secret identity and this combined with a certain manic energy can be a lot to handle. I’d say for folks who make this choice I don’t blame you but I have a feeling you have comfort sitcom couplings and root for them to go the distance!

Hyper Rob and Wondervixen as Samus and Doomguy
A literal power couple, Hyper Rob and Wondervixen’s fates have long been intertwined. This doesn’t necessarily mean they have always had a smooth ride- Wondervixen often fears that she has to live up to an idealised version of herself, while Hyper Rob has had to deal with some serious emotional baggage. While not as extreme as a Harley/Joker relationship, if you chose this option it would be interesting to find out if you picked them because of the awesome art of them as a couple or their story (not judging either way!)

Some might argue this best Reynard City couple vote is a case of Deviantart living up to its name and wanting to add a bit of chaos into the mix. But looking at this pairing more closely and it makes sense- the chances are if you went for this call then you probably enjoy Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, Rocksteady and Bebop or any number of classic villain relationships.

While no “Other” options topped the Best Reynard City Couple polls, we have had some terrific artwork that showcases a few “What if” choices, plus the comic itself has included the romantic machinations of El Paso Grande and Temptress.
