Happy festive period everyone! Here is a roundup of some great moments in the year, the chance to catch up on some things you might have missed and the chance to say thank you to the people who made this happen.
Reynard City Chronicles #1
After a year of hard work, Nicholas Webb and Strider Syd produced Reynard City Chronicles #1 (also shoutout to Jed Soriano for the Reynard City Chronicles logo).
We listened to people’s feedback and after considering the direction to go in we decided to go back to the start. In this story Vibes McAllister lives her life as a radio DJ in Reynard City, only to get visited by ant in a kimono in her bathroom, telling her she is the psychic superhero AK Girl.

While the previous series was 22 page issues, Reynard City Chronicles will be 40 pages, giving more of a story. At present they will be coming out once a year, but if we can get enough sales going then we would be able to do more.

The deadline has passed for posting out print copies, however you can get a download copy for £5 right up to the day, ideal if you want to give a little extra festive foxy surprise (and you don’t have to gift wrap it!) As well as the graphic novel, you also get an additional lucky dip extra including the comic collections AK Girl Adventures and The Perfect Platinum Collection
Furthermore, with each download you are supporting artists who have worked on this comic!

The Gin Temple Launch Party
In terms of a festive occasion, our launch party at the Gin Temple was perfect. As well as having print copies of Reynard City Chronicles #1 on sale for the first time, we also had themed cocktails and mocktails, some great food and a quiz. Special foxy thanks to Caron from Baobab Marketing who co-organised it and everyone who came along and supported us!
If you want to know more about what happened on the night see our report here.

Getting it out there
As well as the launch party, we have also been getting the comic out there in other ways. A big shoutout to Canary Comics and Collectibles who have been fantastically supportive (incidentally, if you need some last minute gifts they have comics and merchandise, also ideal for a little bonus extra or stocking filler!)

Also happy to say that Beccles Books have also recently stocked the comic. This is great for me as it’s my hometown and I will be back there for Christmas!

Also shoutout to Simon Wright (Former Liberal Democrat MP, now doing terrific work for the child bereavement charity Nelson’s Journey) who bought a copy and tweeted it out, much appreciated, as well as everyone who has shared links, posted reviews and generally been awesome and supportive!
Festive videos
Naturally we wanted to talk about Christmas-centric things around this time, so we have a couple of videos, one about my personal favourite films to watch around the festive period and another showcasing the awesome foxy festive themed artwork people have come up with!
Plans for 2019

After a successful Indiegogo campaign we were able to get Reynard City Chronicles #1 out there. In October 2019, we will be bringing out Reynard City Chronicles #2, this time with a new artist Joel Draco Petterson, who has already impressed me with his style and attitude.
This time around we’re doing something a bit different- instead of a crowdfund campaign we are offering a special sponsor/reward package. For £100 you can cameo appear in the next issue, as well as receiving exclusive updates and extras throughout the year, plus a copy of the comic and special Fox Box.
We had four slots available for this, but thanks to the generous support of Rev701 and Leigh Reeves from Morton Reeves estate agent we are now down to two! To secure your slot our Paypal link is here.
What can you expect from this issue? Well we hinted at it in Reynard City Chronicles #1, and those who read the original stories know what (or to be more precise WHO is coming).
We also have other options starting from just $1 a month with our Patreon
You can also support us via sponsorship or buy us a coffee!
Oh and we also have a new contest coming up (Patreon supporters have already had a sneak preview) and Gideon Grey RP is working on a special fan film using WWE 2K19. We will be looking to do more fanart videos so if you would like to be included let us know!
Thank you
It can’t be said enough- this is a team effort (if you click on the link you can see all the people involved). I have been so lucky to have artists like Dan Butcher, Susie Gander, Nicholas Webb, Strider Syd etc create these stories, but we also have benefited from John Paul Guerra doing our comic videos and establishing the roleplay forum, Visualise overhauling our website, Patreon backers and a range of creative people and supporters (special shoutout to Gizzy and Comicvixen , love you!)
It hasn’t always been easy, at times it has been stressful. But this project means everything to me and I am so grateful I can share it with you. Merry Christmas and a foxy new year!
