Our Plans for Norcon 2023

This blog mixes both good and bad news, so let’s get the bad news out of the way first.

Bad news

Norcon 2023 represents the first Norcon in years where we have been unable to secure a table to sell copies of the comic. What this means is there won’t be a table where you can go to buy comics from us.

Good news

The good news is Rob Turner (writer/producer) will be there all weekend and AJ Deane (voice of Guillermo, El Paso Grande and more) will be visiting on the Sunday, so it will be a chance to come and say hi on a more casual basis. We do plan to bring promo and business cards, plus we will be about to have a chat.

There is also the joy in being a visitor and being able to properly take in what Norcon has to offer. There is an impressive range of guests this year, covering shows like Wednesday and film stars like Jason Fleyming.

For anyone going to Norcon, a big thing is the positive and friendly atmosphere. If you get the chance, I strongly recommend going!

We’ve decided to simplify this- here are the links for where to go in order to find us online and where you can support us.

Why is this important? Because it’s here where you can subscribe to our videos, get a boxset of the comic or get in touch with us (contact details above).

Some people may ask why we charge for digital comics or offer rewards through platforms like Ko-Fi or Patreon. The simple answer is that a lot of the “free” parts of the comic (such as maintaining this website, thanks Visualise!) cost money, so any support in order to maintain the project is massively appreciated!

In addition to that, people who support us also get bonus extras such as sneak WIP previews, exclusive review videos, bonus art and more! We also want to give back where we can, giving more artists commissions, reviews of other independent creators (one coming soon!) and highlighting charity projects, something that your support can help with. On top of that, people who back us will be featured in our special thanks video at the end of this month!
