We’ve got news so here is the Reynard City Animated Shorts Update for November 2026!
Our Reynard City animated shorts goal
So first of all the big news is we are at 79% of our Ko-Fi animated shorts goal.
So what does this mean exactly? With the Reynard City Chronicles comic series now complete (available in the shop here) we are turning our attention to another massive lifelong goal.
Reynard City has always been inspired by 90s cartoons like Ninja Turtles, Thundercats and so forth. With the rise of indie animation there are more possibilities than ever to get work out there.
However it’s not easy. In order to get a series we need to show people what we can do. To make it happen we are working on three Reynard City animated shorts in order to pitch the idea to a potential production partner.
We are currently working on the first short with audio complete and test animation being worked on (more info on that in a minute!)
With your help we will be able to get these shorts made, promoted and make a dream come true!
Our Reynard City animated shorts producer team
Special foxy thanks to Redrobotv1 who becomes the fourth and final of our animated shorts producer team.
Massive thanks to Dead Alan Media LLC, Hurikana Comics and Team Frog Knight who have been a massive part of getting our work produced.
A new Reynard City animated shorts team member!

Please welcome on board Seb Dorn, the creator of TurboFox Comics!
Seb will be part of the team working under head animator Jimferno. He has already done a couple of fantastic test animations with more to come!
What to expect from the Reynard City animated shorts
The set up for the shorts will be simple- three mini episodes, each one focusing on a different member of the team.

You can make it happen!
Like everyone else, I loved the fact that after being shelved the passion of the fanbase got Coyote v Acme released, something that now has added poignancy with the sad and premature passing of voice actor Eric Bauza.
What I saw was the best example of a fanbase using its power. Indie animation needs that support too.
We are already so grateful to everyone who has made this project possible so far. Please continue to support us and with your help we will make Reynard City the animated series a reality.
