On our Patreon we have a number of extras, including a series of short stories. I am happy to announce that you can now get a Reynard City audio short story performed by Hayley Evenett.
What are these short stories?

There are 15 short stories in total, starting from the initial creation of the planet Animal Kingdom, right through to the conclusion of the stories in the original comic series. The reason that we wrote them is that there has been feedback in terms of the plot and where everything was going.
Equally there are certain plotholes and story points that have been adapted in order to better serve the characters. For example, in Issue 1 of the comic Vibes sucker punches Guillermo. Initially it’s played off as her messing about, which I realise now wasn’t very sympathetic. In this story the incident still happens, but there is more of a context.
Certain aspects of these stories have been seen before, such as the Yes Sensei bonus issue. But the advantage with this is looking at their backstory, something we weren’t able to do in the original comic.
Who reads the story?
Hayley Evenett has acted as AK Girl before, with appearances on Future Radio and on Youtube. An experienced actor with numerous film and theatre appearances under her belt, she not only reads the story but provides a range of voices. What I especially like is how she brings Vibes’ and Sal’s childhood relationship to life. It was a challenge, but she was happy to take it on: “It was great to bring the characters to life, following the story and adding an extra layer to it. It was a pleasure to work on!”
