” Issue 4 updates? What about issues 2 and 3″ Don’t worry, we’re getting to that!
Welcome on board Saturn
Saturn is confirmed as our issue 4 artist. While she has not worked on previous issues, she has been working for us on a number of Patreon updates, including the $5 icons and artwork, which are still available via our Patreon page. You can also see more of her work here.
Here are just a few examples of these pics. These chibis won’t be the same style as the issue, but I do love them anyway.
Issue 4 is going to be interesting, as in effect it will be the bridge between the arc in issues 1-3, before setting up the next big one (although these later developments will also be hinted at in these early issues.)
Issue 2 and 3
With the latest updates on issue 2 and 3, we are working to get the two issues in time for our October event Cupcakes and Comics (organised by Baobab Marketing at Castle Quarter). Baobab Marketing previously organised our Reynard City Chronicles issue 1 launch party at the Gin Temple, which was very successful.
Issue 2 covers the events after issue 1 (funny that), so spoiler warning if you want to skip on (better yet you can go here and get issue 1 from our shop )
All caught up? Great.
AK Girl and Hyper Rob were freed from near certain doom, almost crushed in a club filled with dough. Wondervixen checked they were ok and then flew off. But why?
Wondervixen flies to Dr Anty’s alternative therapy centre. In this issue she reveals what really happened and why she didn’t immediately go back to her friends (or does she…?)
Joe Draco Petterson provides a more European style than Nicholas Webb and Strider Syd’s more anime style in the first one, as you can see from the pics here!
With regard to issue 3, it’s a bit spoilery to reveal images from that one. However, we do have some awesome artwork by Emily Bandicoot here.
This month we are opening up short story OCs- Draw an OC and give us a quick summary (who they are, how they tie in to Reynard City) and we will do a short story. You have until the end of the month to come up with that.
If you need some tips on how to create an OC, find out more in our OC character creation videos.
AK Girl and Wondervixen Q and A
Finally in this updates roundup we come to a personal fave. We got a great reception with AK Girl’s Q and A (featuring Hayley Evenett as the voice of AK Girl and who also put the video together).
Coming soon, we’ve got AK Girl and Wondervixen (voiced by Hollie Harrington-Ball) doing a Q and A together. We’ve had some great questions already, so we’ll be closing questions at the end of this week to give them time to get the video together.
Please comment below with any questions, use the contact form or email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you need some inspiration we’ve prepared this video
Or if you want more info, check out the character profile videos (that also have links to other Reynard City videos)
This is a project that only exists thanks to a whole bunch of creative talent. As well as the ones we’ve already named, Jo and Jim at Visualise, Susie Gander, Dan Butcher, Jed Soriano, John Paul Guerra, Gizzy Linnell, RayeRayeChan, Ghostlyfelis, GreyofPTA, Dedoarts, Supermarkmusic and many more help make this happen.
