The reason you haven’t seen many Reynard City Chronicles issue 7 update posts is that this has probably been one of the hardest issues to promote without going into major spoilers. With that in mind, I strongly recommend before you watch/read any updates on issue 7 that you read the first six issues as this will get you up to speed on the story.

So this is what we’re going to cover as we go through everything in this Reynard City Chronicles issue 7 update. We are so grateful to everyone who has supported us already (more on that later) but as we get closer to the final issues of Reynard City Chronicles, we need all the support we can get!

So for those who have read issue 6 (and are aware of the spoiler warning we put above) issue 7 opens with a tragedy. The issue is called Aftermath and what follows is the team’s efforts to recover after that tragedy. I can’t stress enough- when posting on videos, social media etc please don’t ask spoiler questions on this as it would be great if people who haven’t read the previous issues can experience this story!

 

 

Release date

While the artwork for Reynard City Chronicles issue 7 is nearly finished, we still need time to put the PDF together, organise promotion etc. Normally, we schedule the release of each issue for September when we head down to Norcon (which is still happening, see this blog here )

What we can confirm is that it will be available for launch in 2024 and there will be an announcement regarding the final two issues during that time.

In addition to our usual promo package, we are offering a special issue 7 promo package

The animation goal

For years now, we’ve had people asking “When are you going to do a Reynard City animation series?” The simple fact is animation is not something that can be done quickly and it needs money to make it happen. That being said, with your help we have a fantastic animator in Jimferno   )

In addition to that, we are also working with MercenaryMaster who is helping us through the process plus we have our incredible voice acting talent (see the playlist below!)

 

It can’t be stressed enough- when you buy a comic, sponsor us, subscribe to the Youtube channels etc you are doing your bit to getting the comic out there!

If we can hit this £1000 target then we will be able to add some great guest voices to our current team as well as giving our animation team the funds they need to get an animated issue 7 trailer done. Furthermore, this trailer will be our first step toward creating a full animated series. You can make this happen!

Spoilers

Final point (and this is something I hope everyone remembers from this Reynard City Chronicles issue 7 update) is please do not spoil this for other people. We are trying to get as big an audience as we can to get this story out there and your support is a massive part of that!
