Reynard City Fights: What are the odds?
“You’ve heard of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) but when it comes to Reynard City you’re dealing with some seriously mixed up martial arts. This is more than a Rumble In The Jungle so head down to the virtual betting office now to see who you would put your bets on in this good guys v bad guys survivor series!”
The odds are that any of the heroes and villains of Reynard City could handle themselves in a fight. But if we were to do a full on Smash Brothers style fight what are the odds on who would emerge victorious? Today we’re going to act like a betting site and analyse the potential combatants. AK Girl
Pros: Her modes give her a wide range of powers (Speed, strength, stealth, shield, psychic and steal powers) plus she is very confident and always up for a challenge. Her natural swagger and presence would make her a hit with (most) of the crowd.
Cons: Aside from the pesky problem of inflating on contact with caramel AK Girl’s swagger can equally be perceived as arrogance. Underestimating her opponents may well be the thing that undoes her, though equally opponents need to be aware that underneath the bravado she is pretty darn powerful!
Overall odds: 2-1
Wondervixen
Pros: Wondervixen may not have the range of powers that AK Girl has but her combination of super strength, flight and agility mean she is not easy to pin down. The added bonus of her pole with the taser end means she can spring a few surprises on opponents who may not be aware of its potency.
Cons: In contrast to AK Girl Wondervixen is more neurotic, her confidence hit by her struggles as a child talent show performer. Seeing herself as fat and being haunted by guilt means she needs to work hard to push herself. That being said when pushed she can be a frightening opponent and anyone who thinks she is a pushover is in for a shock (quite literally!)

Hyper Rob by Doodley
Hyper Rob
Pros: Like Wondervixen Hyper Rob benefits from super strength and flight. While not as agile as Wondervixen his enhanced senses give him an edge over other combatants and his determination means he is not someone you want to mess with!
Cons: Hyper Rob can be very emotional and a smarter opponent can play off that. He may end up falling for traps that an otherwise savvier participant might avoid.
Overall odds 5-1
Hyper Rob v Mega Fox by William Butler
Mega Fox
Pros: No known weaknesses, a range of modes (including transforming into a mech suit and a tank) plus a brilliant strategic mind, this robotic villain is someone that you would do well not to bet against!
Cons: Typically for a villain thus far he has been defeated each time and like AK Girl there is a certain degree of arrogance, which would make for a very intriguing matchup!
Overall odds: Evens (Favourite)
Squirmy
Pros: With an ability to squeeze and stretch into different forms plus the ability to freeze people in place with a sunstance called biofreeze Squirmy has a lot going for him. A strong desire to prove himself to Mega Fox means he is very determined as well.
Cons: Not the smartest fighter. May throw in the towel if up against Mega Fox.
Overall odds 7-1
Caramel Girl
Pros: At first glance Caramel Girl doesn’t seem to have a chance up against superheroes and killer robots. However her experimental caramel blaster does mean she has one edge over AK Girl and she has a scrappy, gritty character that can come out in a fight.
Cons: Aside from not being the strongest fighter Caramel Girl would probably avoid getting involved in the main scrap as much as possible. Sadly up against a Wondervixen or even a Squirmy she would probably fall at the final hurdle.
Overall odds 20-1
Insect Girl
Pros: A combination of flight, super strength, a stinger that causes people to swell up and cocoons that can turn people temporarily into bugs make Insect Girl a potentially very formidable opponent.
Cons: Note that we use the term “potentially”. The problem is that Insect Girl is very ditzy and may lose focus during the fight (especially given she has a crush on Hyper Rob that would make a fight uncomfortable more than anything!)

For those of you wondering where Warp King would be in all this let’s be honest he would be the one setting it all up so I’d have him off the odds (for those of you who don’t know Warp King is the keeper of the dimension between time and space and has an awkward habit of messing with planets and dimensions!)
