The Power of Positivity

Why do I want to talk about positivity? Because as much as I love working on Reynard City sometimes it can be stressful. As with anyone else you have to live your life, pay bills etc. But someone came along and helped me feel that what we are doing is worth it.

So anyway context- I have been looking for ways to promote Reynard City with the upcoming relaunch. I was very chuffed to see reviewer Josh Strider (aka Phantom/Livestrider) get back to us and I can share it with you.

“Howdy Rob. Thanks! It looks like Reynard city is coming along great! While I don’t do sponsored shoutouts, it really looks like you’re making a great comic you’ve put alot of passion into. I checked out your youtube intro and you’ve got a unique animation style for it”

Positivity

This got me thinking- we have been lucky to share this project. What I love about it is how we have been a part of people’s lives. In a previous blog we talked about Gizzy and how Reynard City helped him through the hardest of times. Equally he has helped me and helped us, pushing and promoting us in a way that I find inspiring.

We’ve also seen people say how the comic has helped and inspired their own creative projects, something that is great to hear. And this is before we talk about all our fantastic artists including Susie Gander, Jed Soriano, John Paul Guerra, Nicholas Webb and Dan Butcher.

Inspired Youth

When it comes to positivity and inspiration I have to give a shoutout to Inspired Youth.

It has been great to visit schools with them and other local businesses in the East Anglia area (including my former high school Sir John Leman). I’ve been involved in lots of events including encouraging kids to design their own cookies, creating and marketing new smartphones and much more.
