So for those wondering, in the last two weeks I have been doing work experience/an internship at Mustard TV, a local TV station in Norwich (that also covers the Norfolk area and some of Suffolk)
What hit me was how they dealt with unexpected moments, the slickness and the whole operation. I got to book guests, write ideas, help with VTs and (sort of) operated the autocue. Once again it can’t be said enough- a lot of people work on this and it shows you just how much goes into this.
It is true I have previously guested on the show (including about comedy, my e-book My Life In Bad Jobs and of course about Reynard City.
So what does this have to do with Reynard City? Essentially learning about how the media works is something I am personally interested in. Equally I have always wanted to be part of a media team. After graduating from uni I spent the week at Total Film. In both cases (Total Film and Mustard TV) the places were as I imagined them- a team of people who were friendly, welcoming but at the same time got on with the work and got things done.
Of course sometimes things did get stressful but they all seemed to sort it out. So anyway a big shoutout to Jess, Jake, Nicholas, Helen, Jordan, Ian, Zoe, Kat and all the people involved.
AK Girl Adventures Contest Deadline 31st August

As a reminder the comic collection is called AK Girl Adventures so we are looking for pictures that reflect that, either as a reference to other movies (eg Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Guardian of the Galaxy) or the comic itself. If you want some inspiration here are some examples.
