Fanart Friday: OCs and memes

This week’s Fanart Friday is influenced by a couple of great submissions by new artist Grayson “XxDoodleWulfxX” Gothard. In case you missed the blog we are doing a variant cover contest with your chance to win some prizes (more info here)here

So to start with here is their original character Hiss described by Grayson thus-

My idea is a female snake fox that uses two poisonous fang-swords. She has two 5 inch fangs in her mouth and has a grip strength of around 900lbs. She can use her tail as a way to crush victims and slap with a force of about 78 g-force.

Second of all is a foxy version of the “We are number one” meme. For those of you who are not aware this is an insanely catchy tune from the Scandinavian day-glo fever dream that is Lazytown and this particular song has particular resonance due to the sad fact that the actor who played John Lithgow soundalike Robbie Rotten (Stefán Karl Stefánsson) suffered from pancreatic cancer and the meme was spread as a tribute to him (for those still confused the original video is here)

Of course this is not the first time we have had people come up with their own OCs for Reynard City. John Paul Guerra was a contest winner with Becky Bat aka Queen of Arts (redesign by Pirpintine), a scorned former aspiring artist who was granted powers thanks to warp infused paint brushes (gifted to her by the eccentric keeper of the warp dimension between time and space Warp King, you can find the full story in the bonus issues section of our comic page here)here

We also have a regular roleplay forum with a number of OCs and crossover characters, including the very awesome Van Hikari and Tsubasa (illustrated here by William Butler)

Finally we finish off this week’s Fanart Friday with some Reynard City inspired memes (if you want to do your own we used Meme Generator)
